"Terrible support from the front staff. However, Dr Jay Patel was great!! Bella in the front office is very unprofessional, unhelpful and simply a bee itch! History: I called to make an appt for my mom and talked with someone in front office who said they take the insurance. During the appt, I asked the question, I asked the question that how much of the expense would the insurance company cover. The PRINCESS BELLA showed up and started mumbling some stuff about their system not showing anything about coverage. So I asked point blank, do you accept the insurance we have. She said no. I said well when we made the appointment we were told you guys do. Instead of apologizing that I may have gotten wrong information, her response is " I don;t know who you spoke with" - meaning I could be lying!! I ignored that comment and called the insurance company directly. Of course, insurance company said they will cover the expenses and gave me limits etc. They even offered to speak with Bella and show her how to confirm the coverage. However, she said she was "busy", I was there and obviously she was not busy! So I requested the insurance company to fax them the coverage info. At the checkout time, I asked the unprofessional Bella to see if they received the fax and she replied no - without even looking at anything. Anyway, long story short, try to avoid this Bella chick at this place but other than that the docs are pretty cool."

"I was a patient for several years and since the beginning I was told that because I had receding gum lines, I would have to make appointments every 3 months for periodontal cleaning. After several visits I inquired with my insurance wondering why the coverage was so minimal, and they said these dentists were not true periodontal dentists, thus there could not be full coverage. I was never informed of this by the office and even though my gums were no longer measured “more than the average”, I no longer wanted periodontal visits, but the receptionist said she could not NOT schedule them without the approval of the dentist. It was simply a tactic for more money. I no longer wanted to be scammed so I have chosen to go elsewhere. TRUST is huge for me when seeking any medical or dental care."
