"Frank at FB Truck and Trailer is an absolute life saver. I was pulled over for a random DOT inspection by a Fort Worth Code Compliance Officer. First thing he had me do was check my trailer brakes...they didn't work. I had brakes right before that so I couldn't understand why. The shop had just completed a brake job 6 months ago too. So we went around to the back of trailer and there was a line of brake fluid 20' long. The brakes little broke as I was being pulled over. What are the freaking odds of that?? So of course Officer said I was Out of Service. I either had to leave trailer on side of road, get it towed, or find a shop within a 5 mile range. I choose to find a shop. I did a quick Google search and 1st shop said they don't work on Dexter 12K axles and they were 2-3 weeks out anyway. 2nd call went to Frank, and man was I glad to find this guy! Cop followed me to FB and I dropped trailer off. Frank normally does semi-trucks and trailers; but he said he'd help me out. He said he didn't want to just fix my brakes, but find out why this happened. I said it happens every couple years or so where my brakes fail and things tear up. Well find out Frank did...like Sherlock freaking Holms! Frank went above and beyond and spoke to manufacturer. He discovered that the shop I'd been using for 7 years had been doing the brake jobs WRONG. They were just replacing the pads and not the the o-rings on the caliper bolts and they didn't even inspect the bolts for wear. After a couple years this will cause the bolts to have play and waller-out and eventually cause the entire caliper to fail - along with hub and rotor damage. Frank found that all the brakes were near total failure and the hub-nuts were so loose he cold spin free with TWO fingers. The stud-bolts on one rotor had almost all been snapped off. I was THIS close to having entire hub-assemblies snap off and go flying down the road; potentially causing a major wreck - or worse.The cost of the repair parts were brutal. (3) new calibers, (2) hubs, (3) rotors, (8) new caliper bolts (over $100 each), plus lots of mounting hardware, etc. However, Franks labor-rate was very reasonable. He stayed in constant contact and communicated with me every step of the way and sent pcis and videos of all the damage. No fly-by-night/shade-tree mechanic here folks; Franks a Pro. Now I know why this happened and how to NEVER have it happen again...I'll just have Frank work on all my trailers from now on; period. God works in mysterious ways for sure my friends."

Frank came out and assessed the situation, didn’t want to tow us to his shop because of the distance and current work load. He spent an hour doing all the legwork for us; arranging a tow and finding a closer shop that has a 4.9 Google rating. He even made a follow up call to us after we reached the repair shop. We were impressed!!"
