Texas Steak Express

"My only wish is that I could have eaten my dinner there. Besides that, everything was great! I ordered the lunch menu steak tips, added 6 sauteed shrimp and sauteed mushrooms and onions. I got a small side salad with it and opted for the loaded baked potato. I also chose the peach iced tea. Steak tips were well seasoned and tender (even after driving back to my hotel). Shrimp was seasoned well and sauteed perfectly and I'm not sure what they marinated the mushrooms and especially the onions with but they were absolutely packed with flavor. Could be balsamic or red wine vinegar among other things. "Loaded" baked potato wasn't exactly loaded, everything was put on the side but came with butter, sour cream, bacon bits and cheese. A potato is a potato is a potato....kind of hard to set yourself apart with a baked potato, maybe a dash of course sea salt on the outside then wrapped would help but delicious nevertheless and the peach tea was very peachy and very delicious and refreshing. Woman who greeted me and took my order was courteous and very helpful with the menu, another gentleman who I assume was kitchen help assured me that the order was coming up soon and the gentleman preparing my order was courteous and all thanked me for stopping by as I left. Got all that for under $30, If I could give 10 starts I definitely would."

"My family and I used to love steak express ordered there a lot. Great food. We ordered from there months ago and steaks were full of gristle to much money for that. Well today the wife wanted steak express so we decided to try again and ordered. Once again she had to throw away majority of steak because of gristle. It’s way to much money for that. Shrimp, salad,baked potatoes and Philly cheesesteak was very good probably gonna be a long time before we try them again if we ever do guess I’m back to cooking our steaks. Hate this because they were consistently good in past"

"Made an online order took over an hour for deliver. Burger was burnt & missing a $7 cake that was ordered. Called and the Assistant Manger Janie/Jamie argued about it being sent or not. Stated she felt the bag and the cake was in there. IT WASNT. Argued with me 5 min and then said when my driver returned she would send him back with it. At this point I did not trust her to send any kind of food to me for she was so rude and argumentative over a slice of cake I asked for a refund and she said she would note my account for a credit for the next time I ordered. Had to demand an actual refund (we will see if I really get it). When I asked her name she began crying because she knew she was unprofessional and in the wrong."
