"I had an exhaust problem on my vehicle. Another shop only made the problem worse whilst also making it difficult for me to replace what turned out to just be a stopped-up muffler. The boys at 5 Star replaced the muffler for me in about 30 minutes or so even though it required some customization due to the work done by the other shop. I could not be happier. The vehicle is now smooth and quiet like brand new. 5 Star is my new go to shop for all my automotive repairs. Great work at a fair price. Highly recommended!"

"I highly recommend this place! I visited this mechanic around a year or so ago and totally forgot to leave a review until I just called them again recently. My first visit was shocking. As someone who doesn't know my way around the mechanics of cars very well, I could have been taken advantage of. They did not do this. Very honest. My car was quoted as needing two brake lines replaced. I agreed to have them both done, they gave me the estimate. When I picked my car up, they told me they only charged me for one because the other one was still good. I've been to a few other places that would have just charged me anyway. And as far as my recent call, when I told them I may need some transmission work done, they didn't even try to get me in for a diagnostic. Instead they referred me on down the road to a transmission shop. Easily could have made some money for an inspection, but did not. When I moved to Winchester I was still going to my old mechanic in Lexington. I'm glad I found this shop instead."
