"Stopped in to drink a few rounds of beer and work on my drawings at the bar. The bartender Nancy was a pleasure, she was kind and pleasant to talk to, as were the occasional quips from Kirk. The menu was interesting, containing quite a lot of Germanic influence. One day I will return to try their food as well. The beer I chose to go with was the oatmeal stout they had on tap, I love it when an oatmeal stout doesn't try to do too much, sometimes too many flavors are aren't welcome to my pallet, this stout was exactly what I wanted. And I had quite a few of them. I look forward to visiting this place again. Cheers!"

"Surprise! The food (Salt & Vinegar) is amazing! Really, some top-notch stuff. The cocktails are great, and the drafts, of course. The people were super nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. What a great spot and somewhere that hit the top quality bell. We'll be back often... compliments to the chef(s)! And still hoping to find Ethereal in stores!"

"The pub is a pretty cool place. The vibe is casual and they even have a few games for people to use. The bar looked ok, with se decent drafts, but I didn't partake today. The meals looked awesome. I ordered the brat and mash, a take on Bangor and mash. My wife had the fish and chips. The staff was nice and very welcoming. Their presentation was nice, but my sausage looked undercooked to me and was cool inside, while the potatoes were too hot to eat. The fish and chips were very good, and the hush puppies added a nice touch. I did not return my food, but chose not to eat the sausage. I am willing to bet it was a one off, so I am giving 3 stars for the rest."

"Went here for an early dinner with friends. The atmosphere is fun and there is a a decent beer selection. Would go here again for a drink, not a meal. The food was not very good. It was disappointing. I ordered the pretzel with beer cheese. The mixture of the Brie and Camembert cheeses and beer was not good. I did not enjoy the taste. The pretzel was fine, though a tiny bit over baked. I also ordered the duck confit with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were good. The duck had the texture of being boiled first then pan fried to make the skin crispy. Th e meat had liquid but was dry and there wasn’t much flavor. Not good. The fish and chips were okay. The fish was a bit too greasy and over breaded, but the fries were good. The salad was very good, except for the addition of the Roquefort cheese which overpowered the simple flavors of the dressing and the dish. All I could taste was the cheese. The food did come out very hot and pretty quickly."
