"Absolute trash! Bought a Mazda 2 with a rebuilt title, they claimed that it was misfiring on cylinder 1, and we tested it and bought it with cash. They didn't have $60 to give us change and had to cut us a check. We brought it home, and gave it to our daughter for her 16th birthday present. $3K down the drain! The very next day my husband took the car to pick up our daughter from school and a CHUNK of the engine blew off of it! I had to get it towed to Madisonville to a shop where they told us the ENTIRE ENGINE needed to be swapped for a NEW one! Advance Auto in Madisonville is highly skilled and very well trusted our family mechanic for a long time now! The Gilberts KNOWINGLY sold us a lemon for $3K! I thought it was fishy when they had us sign all the legal documents before we left to get the cash from our bank in Owensboro and our lunch. There is NO possible way they didn't know what was wrong with this engine, as they TOLD us that they rebuilt the car! We were told it had minor cosmetic damage that rendered it totaled, and they got it repaired like new. It looked great, and aside from the "cylinder 1 misfire" (which if that were true all it would need is a tune up) the car looked and acted fine, but my husband and I are not mechanics, like these two scam artists claim to be! NOT 24 HOURS after buying our car from them a CHUNK came off the engine! My mechanic shared these photos with me of the "patch" work after the Gilbert's "fixed" it. The radiator had been broken from the frame and not fixed, the bumper was glued on rather than them buying a new clip, and the frame had non-factory welds behind the bumper on the car frame. Not to mention that the gaping hole "cylinder 1" made because the Piston was completely broken, and now we can see daylight through the bottom of the engine assembly."
