"Shamrocks has the best burgers in Lexington hands down. The variety and creativity of the toppings are mind blowing. The buffalo chicken dip is also a must try. If you follow them on FB they are always promoting daily specials. Their beer on tap menu is always rotating so you can try something new every time. They also have an amazing covered patio area. They also host trivia during the week. The only downside is that the service is great most of the time but every now and then the service does get a bit slow."

"I ordered the Fish and Chips of the menu at lunch. It was great. The portion was more than I could eat. Can't believe how many tvs they have. Would be a great place to watch UK basketball games or other sporting events."

"Don't bother. When you can actually get service the food is decent bar food, nothing outstanding but it's fine. Biggest problem lately had been the lack of customer service, it's always slow on weekdays but this time it was so bad we just left. Maybe 5 people at the bar with 2 "workers" behind it chatting when we walked in. 1 waitress who was chatting as well. 5 tables with people at various stages of service. No acknowledgement, no greeting of any kind . Sat down and waited 10 minutes. No service, no "I'll be over soon", nothing. The bar staff continued to have a great time chatting. We left, won't be back for a long time if ever. And to the staff- you're the same people that go online and cry about not having customers that tip well. Get over yourselves. TODAY'S BEHAVIOR IS EXACTLY WHY YOU GET POOR TIPS. WE ALWAYS TIP WELL BEYOND THE AVERAGE FOR JUST BASIC SERVICE, REALLY WELL FOR GREAT SERVICE. I'll be just fine not eating at your establishment, maybe, just maybe, you should try at a minimum to provide the bare minimum of service in an industry that's going to get worse as the economy gets tougher."

"The food here is consistently good. Our server Julia was friendly, personable and gave excellent recommendations. Since learning of this place two years ago, it has become one of our favorite places. The catfish is wonderful, their cheese sticks are ALWAYS HOT and FRESH. The Shepherd's pie is AMAZING! As is the B.E.L.T. sandwich on the brunch menu. The burgers are wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong here."

"Festive dive bar with plenty of tvs to watch the games. Service was quick and accurate even though the place was packed. Food is good and everything is reasonable priced."
