Great American Cookies

"i’ve tried to go there on multiple occasions and their closed. no sign on the door, just standing there staring at me in the dark. 4:40 is an odd time to be closed."

"No wonder why there are so many negative reviews. The sign has been on the door for almost 20 minutes and as we walked by and pulled on the door, the two female workers were assisting two customers inside and just stared at us. Once the two customers left then I guess the “clock” started and the 5 minutes begun which has now been almost 25. The picture I took was from right outside at a table and now I have counted 12 different people come to try and get in. If the owner is ever concerned with low profits, ask the workers. This blatant laziness is unacceptable and again, I can see why this place has more recent negative reviews. A shop that specializes in the customer getting their own yogurt but the workers putting cookies in a bag and ringing people up shouldn’t have less then 5 stars. Yes, there are good reviews about the “cookies” themselves but all the negative ones are mostly about the staff. We took our business to Ghiradelli as did most people that went here."

"If I could award a zero, I certainly would. I walked in to order a cookie cake and they were not busy at all and 2 employees just standing around. I requested to order a cookie cake and Shannon, the manager, told me it would be 7:30. I told her that was fine and requested the 12in cake because I had a Groupon. She then tells me that she can't make it because it requires 24hr notice. I explain that they have done it in the past and she said no they will not. The manager was very rude when shaking to me so I expect that since management leads by example that her employees are just as rude. It is ridiculous since they obviously had time to mage the cake as before knowing I had a groupon I was told pick up at 7 30 not to mention they were standing around. If you place an order online, it asks for 2 hrs in advance. I will use my Groupon at a different store and never return to this one."

"From out of town on business, stopped in the store to purchase cookies as a thank you treat for the team I was working with. The employee, Shannon, told me 3 times, that for an order of that size, I " should have called ahead, because they don't keep full cases during the week. So, if anyone comes in after you they will have to wait like an hour for cookies." my order was only 24 cookies, and none of the cookies chosen ended up depleting her stock. I mean, what kind of employee selling a product complains about actually making a sale of said product? It was just kind of rude."
