"It's a cool place but definitely not worth a long wait. Bar is pack and bartenders try to do their best but people who got the drinks are Still at the bar. Upstairs people are obnoxious and I've witnessed them throwing ice and pouring water on people below, kind of immature action going on. Great place if you're visiting for the first time but I definitely don't know how "regulars" do it."

"If you're looking for a fantastic place to go on a first date, have a fun night out, or spend some quality daddy-daughter time, this place is an absolute must-visit. There's so much to see and do here that you won't be disappointed. My only suggestion is to remove the tables and chairs from the dance floor and add a restroom upstairs, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything else about this place is perfect. I didn't get a chance to try their food, so I can't comment on that, but I'm sure it's just as fantastic as everything else. Although parking can be a bit expensive, admission is entirely free, making it a win-win situation!"

"Swung by Austin's Backyard, and folks, this place is a little slice of good-time paradise. Got there early to beat the rush and tucked into some of our favorite stacks in the area “Lamarco” they have some killer tacos and honestly I think they have the best tacos in the heights. We then washed it down with some drinks and had a beer and a paloma that set the tone for the night. This spot is like a triple threat of fun: sports bar vibes with TVs aplenty, arcade thrills minus the quarters, and a sprinkle of that carefree college party atmosphere—complete with beer pong. The staff? Superstars. They treated me and my fiancé like old friends, keeping everything chill and the service was for sure on point! From the doorman to bartender to floor staff we loved it! And let me tell you about the view from the second story—talk about a backdrop for your bites! You get this awesome panorama of the Heights that makes your meal memorable. If you're all about that lively, laid-back scene with a side of spectacular sights, Austin's Backyard is a no-brainer recommendation from me!"

"Very spacious. My group and I went on a Sunday which was almost empty but we didn’t mind as we were hoping for a more mellow vibe. The drinks are reasonably priced for a place like this. Also lots of activities! Jenga, beer pong etc."

"The only reason I'm giving this place of four out of five stars is because the drinks were incredibly expensive. But I absolutely loved the vibe. We played Jenga and beer pong and there were a lot of other activities that you could do. The outside was a really cool area with a huge flat screen TV. Totally loved the decor and atmosphere right away! I think this would be good for a date, families, groups, etc. I definitely recommend. The whole area is really cool and you can walk from bar to bar and see how different they all are from one another. There's such a variety. I can't imagine you could go wrong in this neighborhood."
