"I just moved back to Texas and I remembered how much I used to really enjoy coming to Genghis Grill. I came with my wife a few weeks ago and it just was not the same. First off, they did not have the sliced beef that I used to get which was a disappointment and then they didn’t have the peanut sauce anymore either. Those two things honestly made the dishes for me so it just didn’t taste the same. It wasn’t horrible, just not what I really wanted. The service was great, our server was kind and attentive. The restaurant itself had seen better days. We were told to sit where ever we would like and it seemed like a lot of the booths were broken."
"This place never feels me. I love coming here whenever I get off work cause I have to pass right by it. So I always stop. The staff is awesome. the drinks are great. And the cooks are fast and skillful I love watching them cook the food always to perfection. This is my go to place for after work."
"Honestly, I used to eat at Genghis all time so I took my family out to eat there this week— Because it’s been a while, but this time with different. the manager the Shannon who started waiting my table, was so awful, and one of the rudest managers I’ve ever dealt with. Not good at recommending items on the menu, even brought us the wrong order and drinks. Eventually a waitress I believe her name was Fernanda came and refilled our drinks and was so joyous and cheerful she completely made my experience better. If it wasn’t for Fernanda I would not be returning to this restaurant however, next time I will always ask for her."
"The ingredients were fresh and overall the food was ok. I just think for the type of facility this place is, the food is overpriced and you have to go and make your food. They only stir fry what you put together. The place is like a fast food joint but they charge restaurant prices and then expect 15% or higher tip. It just didn't sit well with me. I'm not sure I would go back. The price didn't equal the amount of food/service I received."
