"The prices are way too high. They charge almost $6 per womens old used tops. It was funny because a pair of shoes I had on that I bought at Walmart for $5, the exact same was over $6 and very used. You can get better and cheaper at a yard sale. In fact I would suffice to say much is clothing that didn’t sell at yard sales. Old stuffed toys they charge $.99 cents and shouldn’t be any more than a quarter. With that said, some items such as kitchenware and decor, are not too high in price. I was just shocked at the high prices. I will also be clear that I am very familiar with Goodwill, their startup, earnings, etc. Like everything else these days, greed takes front seat. The Mayfield KY location is the sloppiest in the area. Items are tossed with no organization on the few shelves. Carts are dirty with loads of debrie on the wheels. Trash can outside is usually overloaded with trash. Cigarettes around the trash. Old clothes no one wants stay jammed on the racks for months and longer. Other Goodwill’s in nearby areas are clean, neat, well organized. It's now almost Dec. 2023. I've always found the employees to be nice and friendly. Never had an issue with an employee there. They did get new shelving which has helped a lot because items are not falling off and breaking consistently like they were a year ago. Overall, the Mayfield Goodwill is simply too small. The company needs to either increase the building size or relocate to another nearby location and build a new Goodwill that will accommodate the items they get (which is usually a lot). The place is staying cleaner and they've had a turn-over from several employees that apparently were not doing their job previously."

"I was able to find a couple sets of scrubs in my size (and in a specific color I needed). I always stop by Goodwill when I need certain clothing or outfits. I usually end up leaving with a few other items as well (I've even found decent items for a friend's baby shower before)! It's always worth checking them out before going to buy something that's pricey and new."

"Prices are too high, 4.99-5.29 for a shirt. Tornado destroyed our little town and money is scarce. My child has limited clothes right now and I just wanted to get her a few shirts that would keep her warm and look decent. I wasn't able to afford many at that price."

"Nice looking second hand store, well organized and plenty of choices. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. Mostly clothes but there are knick-knacks and furniture. There are some toys in the corner."
