"There was a sales price tag on trash bags it didnt ring up correct @ the counter. I went back & brought the pic I took on my phone she asked did u get the digital coupon I said no. I went back & couldn't find where it said u needed a digital coupon so I went back & asked her to show me where ot said that she went back w another lady who was incredibly rude. She said your right & the other lady said SOMEONE moved the tags & went to get the sales ad. She brought it back showes me it's in a red box & I said I dont get sales ads I was just shopping & remembered I needed them & this said it was on sale. Though they both agreed that is what it said she moved the tag & wanted me to pay full price I said so your not going to give them to me for the sales tag & she said probably not (mind you after about 20 times of saving SOMEONE MOVED THEM & me saying well ot wasnt me & her saying well people do it all the time & me saying well not me.) I said so your not going to honor the sales tag & said Um probably not I could go call me manager & I said ok do that I was in there for like 30 mins w her accusing me & @ that time I wasnt going to leave there without them. I'm left in the aisle for the 3rd or 4th time & after 6-7 more mins I preceded to the front she was up front laughing & talking with another customer like I didmt exist & then she looked up & saw me & on front of everyone says the manager said I could do it this time but it couldnt happen again. That made me feel a certain type of way bc she was once again accusing me of basically trying to steal from the store or scheme. So I said well that's not on me I didn't touch it & that's yalls job So I said I don't appreciate being accused of like stealing or trying to get something like that. She kept on so I repeated it again & she said I DIDN'T SAY YOU WERE STEALING! Or accuse you if anything & then I said really well it sure sounds like it to me bc you've said that a lot I didnt move the sales sign. The other lady just looked me in the eyes like she felt sorry for me but she didnt stick up for me she just let this other lady talk to me (the customer) like that in front of other customers. In my opinion the service sucked & they shouldn't be allowed to work there anymore. It may sound harsh but it was extremely embarrassing to be spoke to like this & very frustrating as a customer to be accused of trying to get trash bags for cheaper by moving a sales sign I mean the moved sales sign isnt on me. I didnt do it & I cant help that they passed the bags in the aisle 30 times & didnt notice it. That's their job not mine. I mean come on manager... fire them bc I dont c coming back there I'd rather drive all the way to Hanson than be treated like a lying thief @ the nortonville dollar store ."

"Nortonville KY has the best dollar general store around. Crofton is dirty and the staff is rude. They are never stocked with anything and leave the rolling container full of boxes they are stocking from in the middle of the isles so you don't have any room to get around. They are either outside smoking or at the register gossiping about the residents of the very small community. I have been in the store when they have falsely accused a customer of stealing in front of a long line of other people...very uncomfortable for us in line waiting to pay. I cannot in good faith recommend that store to ANYONE!!!"
