"I ordered the snow crab special and it was absolutely disgusted. I took a bite of the potatoes and they were hard and not cooked. The food was cold and did not have any flavor.. I am so disappointed and upset that I wasted $32 dollars on this. I will not be returning back to Mudbug!"

"Mud Bugs is a place that I use to frequent. I’ve had a couple of unpleasant experiences. I really enjoyed the food, especially the crawfish. I normally order 20 lbs at a time along with other food for my family. I recently called to verify that crawfish were available. I was advised that they had crawfish. I then went to the restaurant. I was seated by a friendly young lady that was very attentive. She took my order for 3lbs of crawfish. Later the Owner Dawn came to my table and ask if there was anything she could get for me. I then ordered 3 more lbs. she said okay. About 2 minutes later the waitress came to my table to tell me that the owner "he" the man owner says that he was limiting crawfish to 3 lbs per person. However, he was engaging in a conversation with a table stating that he was glad they were there. They had been there for a while eating crawfish. I am sure they had there 3 lbs and more. I have been going to Mud Bugs for years. Last year I waited an hour, and was there prior to closing only to be told that they were closing and we could not seated us per Dallas. I am saddened to say that I,my friends,or family will not be returning customers."

"This was in no way authentic and was a complete rip off. This picture is of $30 dollars worth of food. On top of that the gumbo was a half filled container of juice and a piece of shredded chicken. I don’t see a place like this thriving outside of Frisco. No way Hosea!"

"Even with us being the last ones in the manager still served us and was very polite and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and this will definitely be my new spot. The food and the atmosphere of this restaurant really made me feel like I was at home. 12/10 would recommend!!!"

"First time checking out Mudbugs, and the family and I absolutely loved it. Food and service were outstanding. Honestly, the fried shrimp from the po-boy and kids menu were the best I've ever tasted; perfectly cooked and the batter was light and delicious. My son (6) ate a plate full, and nothing pleases me more than watching him try new food and love it! As a first-timer, I wanted a variety so we tried the sampler (pictured). The chowder and etoufee were a massive hit. I had grilled catfish with etoufee topping (pictured). My wife is excited to go back for brunch and try all the delicious options and bottomless mimosas. We'll definitely be going back to Mudbugs and including it to our regular rotation of favorites in the area."
