Woody's Bar & Kitchen

"Heard through the grapevine that Woody’s was a Chicago Bears bar and since I’m a big fan, I thought I’d give it a try. There was a lot of Bears fans so I was excited right off the bat. Sat down no more than 10 feet from the bar and it mostly went downhill from there. Server walked up to us after about 10 min of sitting and just stared. Didn’t say hi, didn’t bring a menu, just eyeballs. I finally said hi after an awkward few seconds and asked for a beer and a menu. About 10 min later, I got my beer but no menu. 15 min later (after the server went out for a smoke break), I got my menu - well, because I went on the website… never got an actual menu. Sat for over an hour before we got our wings… it was a mess. I’ll still give it another shot next year since it’s a Bears bar but if it wasn’t, not sure I’d be back spending over $100 on that service. Wings were great tho!"

"We came for the midget wrestling, but the food kept us here all night! Check out Woodys new outdoor kitchen...it is state of the art!! If you're looking for a bucket of chitlings or a full Holiday meal...stop by Woodys! Highly recommended!"

"Amazing spot for celebration and gatherings. Great ambiance with wonderful service. Food was served fresh and the quality and quantity is just unbeatable. We loved their jumbo burger, chicken strips with fries, chicken wings and veggie burger loaded with freshly sauteed mushrooms and veggies. Must try burgers in town!! Kids enjoyed their meal and altogether we’re glad to have spent that evening at Woody’s!"

"I love this place! The atmosphere (arguably the most important part of a sports bar) is amazing. We came here for the football game and they had an insane amount of screens! The DJ adds a lot and the service is great. The food in general is good. The wings are great, they take a while to make, but they are super flavorful and crispy. The sauces are awesome, I had the garlic parmesan and the Woody's special sauce. The garlic parmesan has a strong butter taste and a nice herby-garlic bite. The Woody's special sauce had a bit of a BBQ sauce taste, but it's clear that they put extra stuff in there. My favorite part about the Woody's sauce is the char on them. I also had the chicken sandwich. It was super crispy! The sandwich had toasted brioche buns, which added a lot to the texture. The fries are alright, they were the only thing that wasn't perfect. The flavor was there, as always, but they weren't very crispy. Overall, 9/10 experience. Will be coming back soon!"
