"The waiter was friendly and timely with the appetizers, salad and our meal. We never felt rushed to finish our salads nor our appetizers. Our meal was very hot and right on time after we finished our salads and appetizers. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and looked out on to the canal."
"Good place to hangout outside. The tacos were good. Though at closing time there were rats on the deck getting on the furniture. One of the bold rats ran underneath our table startling everyone."
"Great location on the resaca. Beautiful palm trees, very relaxing. Food was meh… maybe I shouldn’t have ordered the nachos …. they were made with cheese sauce, not real cheese, hardly any jalapeños, and not fully warmed up. Too much ice in the Margarita, not enough of the good stuff. Will continue my search in Brownsville for a good palapa bar"
"Wow! What an amazing find! This place has a great laid back yet up beat atmosphere. Our server Edward was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! He was attentive and excellent at his job. He never let our drinks get more than half empty, and was very informative about the menu. Whoever owns this establishment please give this man a raise. I travel all over the US and dine in hundreds to thousands of establishments each year. Edward has provided me with the most exceptional service I've had anywhere. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and it was all superb. Highly recommend this place! Thank you Edward for a great supper experience."
