"I had an extremely pleasant dining experience at The Bell House. I was visiting from Northern Virginia. I wanted to experience local tradition so I ordered the classic Hot Brown (Turkey w/chopped bacon on toast points covered with Mornay sauce and a tomato (all baked). It was delicious. The decor is local and ornate. Sipping coffee from fine China was a nice touch. The service was top notch and the staff was very polite and welcoming. I, enthusiastically, recommend The Bell House!"
"We had a group of 10 and had called ahead. They were ready for us when we arrived. I have the steak flat and it was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. We highly recommend this place. The staff was super nice and helpful."
"This place was packed. Luckily, we had made reservations and was seated right away. I had the grilled pimento cheese on white bread, and it was delicious. The Mrs tried the half chicken salad sandwich and salad! Then, for dessert, the Mrs opted for the petite cheesecake. It was good, petite but good!"
"This is a historical sight on Main street in Shelbyville, Kentucky. It is a wonderful environment, comfortable atmosphere, the best food you could ever imagine, world class service and kindness in general abounds. It is clean, classy and very busy. Don't expect to get seated without a reservation. There is a reason for that. This is truly a rare gem of a restaurant. Get a reservation and come have dinner. You will be so glad you did!!!"
