"Signs saying "Men's" and "Women's" would be helpful. I asked a short, 50ish employee where Men's clearance was and he took me to women's clearance. My wife hates shopping here, because of the lack of signage and unhelpful employees. On checkout I was trying to choose "Email only" for the receipt but the impatient cashier printed the receipt before I could choose. There were zero customers behind me."
"I love coming here to shop for my hiking gear and outfit. I have a membership, and when I buy things from here, my items are uploaded into my membership account. If I lose my receipt, I have a copy of my purchases online. They have sale areas or second-hand items you can buy cheaper than their new price. The staff are helpful, and there are always new things to find at this location. I love coming to REI for all my outdoor gear and needs. Recently, I was here to shop for outdoor gear and outfits for my Iceland trip. I mainly bought base layers, hiking overalls, and winter jackets. I know that every time comes with an expensive price, but they last a long time! Every item is worth the investment."
"I went in today to check out some climbing shoes, I've never visited the store before. I didn't end up buying anything but I came here specifically to shout out the above and beyond customer service by Tracy and Hannah. They were interested, engaged, and super helpful. Can't say I'm a massive REI person simply because I don't do a lot of the activities it's designed for, but if I ever do, I'll be back cause those employees took such great care of me."
