"They close 15-20 minutes early almost every night!! This is so frustrating!! Never fails. If you’re going to close early just change the damn hours of operation. Pathetic. Get a different job if you don’t like the hours."

"I went the other night to buy a few items and my total was 37 dollers and I gave junior two 20s but one was a lil ripped like very little and I asked if I could use a piece of tape to fix it and he said no he can’t because if he give me a piece of tape he then liable for the money I told him I’ll do it out or in my car but he just didn’t wanna do it. I had to go down the street to the gas station and get a small piece of tape and come back like he was so ridiculous. I will take my money else wear next time . Employee name was junior"

"I went today and sat there and watched the employee ring up my items and saw her intentionally put it to the side. I waited for her to finish the transaction and then asked her if she put my lashes in the bag. She said yes. I dumped the rest of my stuff out of the bags and showed her they weren't there. She acted stupid and then acted like she did it accidentally. I saw her do it!! Embarrassing. What type of employee does that! Imagine how many people she's done that too!!!"

"I went in on a Tuesday evening to pick up a few items I needed so that I wouldn't have to go to a big box store. I needed paper plates, plastic cups, benadryl, black pepper, and a package of paper towels. They were out of ALL of these items! In fact many of the shelves especially in the paper products and vitamin and allergy medicine aisle were almost completely empty. It looked like a store going out of business? Perhaps it was a truck day? I say that because many of the aisles had baskets with merchandise in them or flat beds carts blocking the way. I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but to be out of so many items was awful. I could have understood a few items but not a whole list. The staff at this store are always so helpful and friendly, I don't want to overlook the positives in this store. They have also provided more baskets because they were down to one cart for the whole store! So if you had a lot to pick up you either waited for the basket or loaded yourself up like a pack mule. However they realized the issue and corrected it as well. I will return to Family Dollar and give them another chance and if it doesn't improve I will have to start shopping at another store. I really hope they get it together. The community really needs this store."
