"I drove all the way from Sargent Texas to hit $1 day. Definitely worth the drive two huge bags of shoes and clothes for $22. I live in the country so I go through clothed by getting paint or bleach or I rip them so it’s not worth it for me to buy new clothes. Plus I’m retired on a small fixed income. I love family thrift outlet. They always have so much stuff. Yes you do have to search but it’s worth it. I highly recommend it and I’ll be back every time I can get to Houston."
"It is very busy, queue was very long. The inventory was very bare as half the store was marked "closed". Couldn't even shop here arriving at opening time it was already an Black Friday environment. Parking lot spaces get to full capacity quickly."
"There was nothing but clothes at this place so basically no "incredible rare treasures" or lucky finds. It seemed really busy though and when I asked the clerk what was going on, he pointed at the sign to let me know that each item purchased was a buck... no wonder! I have enough clothes and was just treasure hunting! Nice welcoming staff of employees but the customers acted like they were shopping on Black Friday!"
"This Family Thrift Center Outlet is the last stop for merchandise that didn't sell at other Family Thrift Stores in the area. Starting on Thursday of each week all items are $2.00. They are marked down an additional 25¢ each day until Wednesday morning when everything sells for 25¢. They are closed Wednesday afternoon for restocking. This process is every week. This is a great place to pick work clothes and super bargains for the entire family."
"Oh my god. My fiance and I literally strive for this 25cent Wednesday! You can't beat it. So much fun, so cheap, NAME BRAND. NICE THINGS. And IT'S CLOSE BY OUR HOUSE. You can never have enough stuff ! Oh and check this out, we have another family thift outlet that's even closer ! And they have 25cent day on Thursday. So we got two days in a roll! I love this place. I will never shop anywhere else again."
