"For those of us who were around back when Goodwill used to sell clothing items for a dollar sometimes less and it was an actual value. This is like taking a step back in time to win thrift store actually meant thrift. These days you go into a donation-based resale shop and sometimes you’re paying more than the item cost originally brand new. Nothing seems to be affordable anymore. I found value Village through an online ad advertising shirts for $.99 one day. Of course I clicked on the click bait and went down the rabbit hole that is value Village. I read reviews checked out franchise information, even when is far as to watching YouTube videos from other shoppers head shop there. It’s not anywhere close to my house so before I wouldn’t trust all the way to the other side of town in my car that likes to break down on me for no good reason, I wanted to be sure at this place with worth my time. I am happy to report it very much was. They had so many great flash sales going on in there and the quality of the items was way higher than I expected it to be. I would like to know where their income goes to. Is it all just a corporate thing or do they donate to local charities? If anyone knows the answer this please let me know. I like shopping places where my money is going to better the community and the world around us."

"Tried purchasing a pair of shorts 12/26/2023 But the tag ripped off in the dressing room, didn’t realize until I got to the cash register, and then I couldn’t purchase them. Paper tags along with stapling them on are so inconvenient."

"Overpriced and disorganized. It gets 2 stars for having good variety. The items were not priced well. A used sweatshirt that is a Walmart brand was $8. And it was well-used. My husband found a pair of pants that were used and they were $16. The clothes are grouped by color but you have to go through each item to look at the size. Not very practical. There were a lot of clothes. Not much in housewares or electronics. And what was there was (again) overpriced. A George Foreman grill (that would be $5-$6 at Goodwill) was $18! A coffee maker without the carafe was $10."

"This location is clean and organized but the prices are extremely high. I found jackets for $50, in bad condition. Terrible fast fashion brands are priced even higher than retail. Reminder that they get these items FOR FREE and it’s all profit. They are not a charity organization. I wouldn’t waste my time here. I would recommend other thrift chains. The selection and prices are better at other stores. One good thing, books are finally fairly priced. I remember they were $8-$10 in late 2022. Now paperbacks are 75 cents and hardbacks $1.25. Pretty decent."

"I visited the store today for the very first time, the store front is cleaned and somewhat organized. I visited the store with my elderly parents who are 82+ and needed to use the restroom and from 11:15 to 11:30 am two female workers who were on their cellphones stayed in the stall’s for over 15 mins and when I asked if they were going to be there much more longer since i can see them standing by the door nearly 15 mins they opened the door with an attitude!!! I proceeded to assist my mother and then realized there was no toilet paper, and the two ladies who were standing by the sink talking i asked them for toilet paper they said sorry there’s no toilet paper & that each employee have to bring their own toilet paper from home. I was debating with my rating on this review but after I saw some of the previous reviews I see this has been an issue for a very long time. Please correct this at your store and speak with your employees with their attitude towards customers this two ladies were young! The older ladies working in the floor are very friendly and humble even if their English is not so great but they have a smile and treat you well. I placed my receipt here so you can look at your time clock and see this two young ladies that clocked in around that time.. Thank you"
