Fast Eddie's Amarillo

"We went on Tuesday night and it was not busy at all. My husband and I like to shoot pool and we are new to the area. Coming from the Austin area we frequented Eddie’s tavern in round rock. Before we went I called ahead to find out pool pricing, the girl who answered the phone advised me it was $4 westernson vodka special and $9 per person for unlimited pool. Upon arrival a waitress greets us and we pay for the pool and pick a table. She did not give us our change for the pool table so my husband had to go get that from her. He assumed she had given it to me: We ordered water to drink and when it came time for refills we had to get her attention. I understand since we’re not drinking alcohol, water is not a priority I am guessing. We continue with our pool games. We decide to order one alcoholic beverage each. My husband goes to the bar and orders a bud light and I order a vodka water with lime vodka (the waitress had not been back by at this point). There was one bartender and 2 waitresses (maybe 12-14 customers in the building at this time). The two waitresses were visiting with a table of 3 men. A waitress comes over to us a little bit after we order and told me that the vodka was not on special and I told her that’s what I was told on the phone and she decided to honor the price. I was willing to pay whatever it cost but I appreciated her honoring that. When our drinks arrive, the waitress brings a Budweiser and a vodka water with lemon. I go ahead and drink mine because it’s good and my husband let’s her know he ordered a bud light. She brings a bud light. We finish our drinks and order a 2nd round and again, he had to go the bar to order as the two waitresses were still visiting the men. While we are waiting a manager comes from the back employee only area and the two girls begin wiping down pool tables. We continue to wait for our drinks while we are shooting pool. After 25 minutes we decide to leave. Our drinks are sitting at the bar and were never brought over to us. The two drinks there were a vodka water with lemon and a Budweiser. We let the manager know our experience. She apologized. Took the drinks off that we never received and that was it. We have never experienced such poor service at a fast Eddie’s or Eddie’s tavern before. Even on a busy night we’ve always had excellent service. We won’t be back to this location not that it matters but I’m posting this so they can educate their staff. Do better fast Eddie’s."

"Snowy winter day so we decided to go play pool while in Amarillo. It cost $9 per person and unlimited plays. The sticks were straight and plenty of elbow room. The waitress told us Blue Moon and Coors were imports which we knew better. Pricing on drinks (cans and bottles) were a bit steep from what we're used to, but the kitchen menu was fair in pricing. The place wasn't busy and there were 25 tables to choose from. We had a lot of fun playing pool and would recommend this facility."

"kenzi, the girl with the glasses and great attitude is one of the main reasons I go! She's swift and thorough as a server making sure we always have our drinks filled and gives us the check as soon as we want it without us having to ask! She's by far my favorite bartender there and makes the best drinks along with the best jokes!"

"I go for the friendly bartenders. Audrey has been there for a while and is amazing. She can make you whatever drink you want (as long as they have the ingredients of course) plus if you catch her out on one of her smoke breaks she will talk to you like a friend. Very friendly safe place to go.."
