"I came here just for the live music. Can't judge on the food. Let me tell you that the band playing that night was fire. Really enjoyed it. Mood was great, all guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. Beer choice was fine, had some local brews which tend to be more IPA kind of stuff. The 6th street in Austin is filled with live music bars, I don't know how "Friends Bar" compares to the others but if you don't know any bar along that street, I'd recommend to go and have some good time at the "Friends Bar"."

"The bands here NEVER disappoint! It doesn't matter the day of the week. Weekdays are usually not very busy. There is a food truck/snack bar inside. I am not quite sure on the hours. It is open, but the one time we have eaten there. The food is pretty good."
