"Visited on 4/21/23 at about 5pm. The woman working the register was incredibly rude. I don't know that I've ever met someone who seemed to hate their job more than this woman.... and she takes it out on the customers. I understand sometimes people can have a bad day here and there, but this was ridiculous. She aggressively bagged our items, slammed them into the partition, snapped at us about the chip reader being broken...just overall awkward and rude at the same time. I don't know if there's a Prozac shortage or what the deal is.... skip this DG."

"If I could rate it lower I would. Manager is rude. Disrupted her smoke break and personal call so we could check out. Stayed on the phone the entire rime. Never spoke to us except to ask for my ID which she entered wrong anyway. Never said thank you. Glad there is another one in La Vernia cause I won't be back. And the store was messy. Obviosuly no one at a higher level cares."

"I go here everyday. Literally every day. There is two very rude works that should be fired and never work in customer service ever again! Today I went later than usual and there was a huge line and no one at the register to assist the customers. A guy comes out and says he was on break and apologize to the customers in line saying “he didn’t know no one was her to assist us” and then he yells to the lady in the back of the store to help the him with the customers in the line. She then walks to the front and proclaims “Can you guys not talk” in a very rude tone. This is not the first time she has caused a line. The older lady is never mining the register and always has a very rude attitude which makes me believe she is not cut out for customer assistance and should seek other jobs. I have worked in customer assistant and know that being rude is a major no no. Treat people like you want to be treated! There is also an older gentleman who is the same way never talks to me and is rude when I ask for help. Yet he seemed super nice to the white gentleman when he asked for help funny. The other younger works seem ok except one time they were just sitting around up front and talking while one mind the register instead of working. Also, I bought a couple of food items and they were 2 years expired! Like completely gross! If you ever shop here expect expired food and rude customer service."

"For a "DOLLAR GENERAL", This is the Best I have ever Seen. The Store and Bathrooms are so CLEAN. Store is kept well Organized and the aisles are Clear and CLEAN. The merchandise is where it should be and easy to find. This Store is Amazing.Its 9:40am and I only saw 1 Employee and she was Smiling, Helpful and had a GREAT Attitude, while she was working hard, JUST AMAZING. Stocking and Cashier, while directing me to what I needed. 5 STARS (You can RENT a Carpet Cleaner. WOW)"

"Nicest Dollar General I have been to. There is fresh produce, lots of refrigerated items, home decor, and everything else. There are name brand and off brand items. Definitely worth the visit."
