"First time ever visiting Dave & busters. I didn't get a chance to experience the games. I did try the food. I tried the pretzel sticks as an appetizer. For a meal, I got the chicken strips, and my mom got the mushroom burger. The food was definitely good. I did try the mushroom burger, and it was really good. I will definitely be going back to try more food & check out the game selection. Service was very nice, informative, and helpful."

"Didn’t eat, but ordered a drink. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and the place was clean. Everyone from the bar(Nat) to the game crew (Alexander) and the young lady who greeted us at the front was very polite and nice. We will absolutely visit frequently since we live so close."

"I love Dave and busters so I was very excited to have one open up near where I live. However the service at this location leaves a lot to be desired. We went to eat dinner and play some games, and we purposefully did not order drinks at the beginning of the meal because we were waiting for their late night happy hour to kick in. About 10 minutes before happy hour the server asked if we wanted to order drinks and we said we’d hold off 10 more minutes until the happy hour kicked in. He insisted that it would be fine and he’d honor the happy hour prices. We ordered 3 drinks and by the time the bill came, we were shocked that not only did he bill us the full price but actually charged us for 4 drinks. We kindly asked him to fix it and he spent about 15 minutes with the manager and gave us a new receipt and told us it was all fixed. After we paid, we realized they still didn’t fix it right and basically charged us an extra $10. We went back again and took another 10-15 minutes to try to fix it and the manager offered us a $10 game card or he could refund to our credit card tomorrow. The server was apologetic but the manager was extremely rude and was acting like he was annoyed that we were wasting his time. Maybe if they didn’t screw up the bill twice we wouldn’t be in this situation. We just bought $100 in game cards so we did not want to get another $10 game card. He took down our info but surprise surprise it’s been 3 weeks now and still no refund has appeared. These guys really need to work on their service. If you’re going to be lazy and offer a game card, at least put a little extra on it to make up for the 25 minutes we wasted dealing with this billing issue. $10 wouldn’t have even covered the extra tax that we were incorrectly charged. Totally disappointed and would not recommend this location to anyone."

"I can't get enough of Dave and Buster's. It's my go-to place for family fun in Austin. It has everything I want and more. The place is always clean and well-stocked and ready to play. I never have to worry about finding what I need or waiting in long lines. The food is solid and the drinks are cheap. The burgers are thick and juicy, and the margaritas are strong and refreshing. The staff is kind and helpful. They always greet me with a smile and offer suggestions or samples. The best part is the arcade. It has so many games to choose from, I never get bored. I can play classic games like Pac-Man and pinball, or modern games like Halo and Guitar Hero. I can even play virtual reality games where I feel like I'm in another world. A world where I don't have to worry about bills, taxes, or global warming. Just pure fun and excitement. I'm definitely excited to go back to Dave and Buster's and play all the games they have. This place is the ultimate destination for family fun and entertainment. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to laugh, play, and have a good time. And if you don't like those things, well, maybe you should go to a library instead."

"I really wanted to like location since it's much closer to my house than the north location. We went Sunday and played games. Two of the card recharging machines would not work on the tap. Got hungry and saw a host to sit at one of their limited tables. It wasn't clean. Food crumbs were still on it and the chairs. Our waitress was training someone so it took a while to take our order, no biggie. Two people in our party got their drinks and two did not. Waited and waited. Appetizer came out and still not the other two drinks. Server, Blonde ponytail girl, came and brought our entrees and I advised her we didn't get two drinks, to which she said she would get. She didn't. A manager was doing rounds and checking on things, very friendly guy, advised him we still didn't get our drinks and he did bring them right away. One person in our group didn't finish their chicken wings because some were undercooked but it was so hard to get service so couldn't even send them back. Then one of the kiddos wanted a to-go strawberry lemonade so that was another 20 minutes. Overall, games were fun but eat somewhere else; plenty of options in Southpark Meadows. The service and food are highly questionable and less than par."
