"Where do I begin?!! This was my first time there and the time was memorable! First off my waitress was beyond amazing. She was very attentive and even left us a beautiful message on our bill!! Then there was the manager... All smiles and made our time there relaxing, peaceful with many jokes and laughs. He even walked us to our cars since it was dark out when we left. He wanted to make sure we got to our vehicles safely! What a gentleman! Chivalry is not dead!! Now onto the food... The fries mushrooms, crab cakes was other worldly. The best I have ever tasted! I bought a hill country salale for the road and that was everything I though it would be!! Would I recommend... Hell yes!! Will I come back... Most definitely!!"

"Had an amazing experience at Saltgrass with my husband. We were seated immediately by a very friendly staff member on a Friday evening. The ambiance is like a typical American bar. Our waitress was Rosa, she was so sweet, kind, and helpful as it was our first time at the restaurant. We ordered a really delicious (new) appetizer, the tenderloins bites with mushrooms, onions and chimichurri. For our entrees, we ordered Pat’s Steak and the Steak and Cake—both are highly recommended and soooo delicious. The owner/manager, Jose was very attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout our dinner. He a great conversationalist and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. 10/10: I was highly surprised at how amazing the food and service was, and I can’t wait to return to try more of their menu!"

"We shared our food and there’s still leftovers! The people greeted us warmly. Our service was almost overly helpful but we we’re grateful. Our server remembered everything we asked. It was dark inside and the decor old. We would have enjoyed outside better but it was cold in December. There was plenty of free parking and additional space on the side. We ordered plain tea and a beer. To eat we ordered a Cesar salad, a brisket burger, ribs with sweet potato on the side. The sweet potatoes were delicious. It had a butter with nutmeg on top. They served us bread and honey butter. The salad came fast and everything thing else came steadily after the salad. Regardless of splitting our meals in half we still had plenty of leftovers. Price was decent."

"Service was excellent, manager came and greeted and was nice to my son! Our waiter kept our drinks full and was exceptionally polite and attentive. My New York strip was the only issue. It was Cooked more rare than medium-rare but that’s ok the quality of the steak was poor in my opinion not tender or juicy. Sides were excellent….."

"Small intimate location! Our Server, Lacresia was AWESOME! Very attentive, advised us of available soups w/o us having to ask. She served with a caring heart and smiles! Lacresia was professional and personable at the same time. She invited us back to this location for the live band on Friday and Saturday evenings, for the desserts and wines. The food was delicious and served timely."
