"Will NOT be returning. Had to pay for the buffet at the door 39.99 plus 20% gratuity and tax 102 total. Had to ask for My receipt 3xs from the snotty hostess then it was not my original receipt because I came at 1110 not the time on the receipt she gave me. Had to pay separately at the table for our drinks and were charged 20% gratuity for that as well. What type of business does this? One that will not last doing unfair practices like this. Fish not fried completely you could still see cornmeal on it. The oxtail was warm as if they put them in the pan and on the burner to warm. The collards were good as well as the French toast and fried chicken. I drove from Humble for this. Def need better customer service."

As a tequila enthusiast, I switched up the classic lemon drop to incorporate tequila, a delightful twist that perfectly complemented the evening's vibe. Our appetizers, the zesty lemon pepper Jammin Wings and the tantalizing pulled oxtail sliders, had us eagerly anticipating the main course. When the time came, the smoked oxtail stole the show. The tender oxtails, paired with scampi rice and a side of greens, was a culinary masterpiece. Each bite, a symphony of flavors--falling-off-the-bone oxtails harmonizing with the savory rice and a dash of hot sauce. And the cornbread! It transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen, a nostalgic and heartwarming touch to the meal. Not only was the food impeccable, but the experience of dining and grooving to the music created a perfect, social ambiance. RockHouse has undoubtedly earned my highest recommendation. I'll be returning soon, eager to savor their culinary symphony once more!"

"Some times I wish half stars could be an option as this would be a 4.5 but I had to remove a star because of the music. The mix was GREAT, it was just entirely too loud, especially considering there was practically no one in the restaurant when we were there at about 7pm. I was sitting right beside my date and felt like I needed to yell to be heard. Other than that, the food was really good, the drinks were great and our server was excellent. It was good experience. Also note that gratuity will already be factored into your bill."
