"It's a pub so you shouldn't expect much from their food. BUT I was surprised by the variety. I had a chicken avocado burger on a brioche bun. My husband's burger came on rye. The food was surprisingly good. The inside decor was interesting. It had a giant chandelier made of beer bottles. If I were there to have drinks it would have been a great place."

"Great outdoor seating area. Live music Thurs -Sat. that offers diversity in groups, that never disappoints. Half price burger Wednesday. Cozy atmosphere in side, like an English pub."

"Been here a dozen or so times. Couple of craft beer options but mostly mainstream beers. Full bar otherwise with average quality cocktails. It's a gritty place. Small bar area. Their patio is nice, and location is good. Service has always been iffy here but today I guess it was the manager who refused to let me take a chair from an empty table to join another table. She got an attitude telling me she already let too many people take chairs from other tables. I would have paid the server for that section but this was too complicated for them. Walked out will never go back again. There are much cleaner bars with better drinks and service elsewhere. No reason to put up with the bad service here."

"Would say more a 2.5 as I prioritize food when visiting places . Here’s the jist : I’ve been watching Top Chef All Stars lately n really inspired by the London food scene. Picked this pub as I was expecting to get a taste of it here in Houston. Besides the atmosphere , there’s zero pub going on here. The menu is all Texas bar food except one English dish: fish and chips. Fish isn’t fresh, wasn’t crispy at all. The chips were good n the tartar was delicious. It’s all about a crispy fish though so missed the mark. If I were to revise this menu I’d do English forward : 3 solid English plates , 4-6 Tex style foods, two desserts max. Currently the menu is really large n way too many burgers/sandwiches. I’d like to see a joint that is going for a Pub theme to really commit to English forward food as the pub scene in London has been doing remarkable food. Same w drinks …all Texas beers which is cool but bring in English ones too. I’d come back for a drink n the Pub atmosphere. The bartender was cool and knowledgeable! But other than that it would only be a quick stop"

"A classic spot with a great location right next to the freeway. Met a friend for lunch and a beer, and it was pretty good, but the beer menu was pretty slim, and the food was aight. Hummus was pretty good, but the veggies weren’t as fresh as I’d expect, and the sandwich was pretty good too. Overall service was kind and attentive. I’ll be back."
