"First time I went, music is too loud not a place for conversation, waitresses and bartenders don't care to coming customers. I went there sit in the table first for few minutes waitress don't care just walking by and then I moved to the bar the bartenders don't care either. I left right away they don't deserve my business, there are better places to go."

"Horrible service on a Sunday evening. Sat down at the bar, had to get my own menu because no one offered me one after five minutes, and it took the bartender another five minutes to take my drink order. Another 20 mins passed with no offer to take my food order; meanwhile, other patrons entered and had drinks in hand and food orders placed. I finally asked for my bill, and it took an additional 10 minutes and a conversation with the manager to even get that. The manager just simply shrugged and said, “well, we’re pretty busy tonight.“ I will not be back. On another note, the music was blaring, almost gave me a headache."

"I came in for a couple of beers and to watch MNF. This is the 4th Ojos Locos I've been to and I got the best service tonight here. My drink was never empty, my food came out quick, and the waitress continously checked on me. If you come to this restaurant ask for Aly. I know I'll be requesting her next time I come. I came back a second night and had another excellent experience. Nachos, tacos, and beer. Who could complain? Unfortunately Ally was off, but Moni took excellent care of me. Helped me pick a shot and choose my food. I can't tell you how many times I asked about menus and not gotten good feedback. Moni navigated the menu with me and sold me on a delicious dinner. This place is top notch with the best wait staff. Thank you Ally and Moni for excellent service."

"This is a Hooters style restaurant, but serves Mexican food. Being in Brownsville, there are obviously better Mexican restaurants. Ojos Locos is closer to Chili's than "authentic" Mexican food. The service is the reason to go. The waitresses are nice, friendly and often very pretty."

"Went to the soft opening and I was pleasantly surprised! Everyone was so sweet and nice, everything was delicious. This was my first time at any ojos locos so I wasn’t sure what to expect at all, but everything was great. Food was so good! had the ceviche, fajita tacos plate and the hot boneless wings."
