"Our culinary journey led us to Chennai Cafe, a South Indian restaurant offering a tantalizing lunch buffet. The extensive spread featured a variety of veg and non-veg options, creating a delightful dilemma of choices. Personally savoring the Malabar Chicken Biryani and the Chennai-style Chicken 65, both dishes left a lasting impression with their rich flavors. Despite not sampling every item, each dish that crossed our palate was met with a unanimous verdict of yumminess, devoid of any negative remarks. The live Appam and Dosa stations added an interactive touch to the dining experience, though patience was required due to the queues. For the little ones, a thoughtful array of items such as popcorn, veg rolls, and chips Fry kept them happily occupied. Surprisingly, the kids' veg roll became a household favorite, prompting us to bring a couple of extra pieces home for later enjoyment. To round off the feast, the inclusion of tea brought satisfaction to my spouse, a tea enthusiast. A standout highlight was the live Appam, served with coconut milk, creating a memorable blend of flavors. In addition to the culinary delights, Chennai Cafe's ambiance further heightened the dining experience. The spacious dining area and classical Tamil cultural design, featuring pictures and paintings, created an aesthetically pleasing setting. The infusion of traditional elements added to the overall charm, making it not just a meal but a cultural immersion. What stood out was the diverse clientele; the restaurant's appeal extended beyond Indian patrons. The presence of many non-Indians highlighted the universal appreciation for Chennai Cafe's menu. It's a testament to the restaurant's ability to attract and satisfy taste buds from various cultural backgrounds, showcasing the universal appeal of South Indian cuisine. In conclusion, Chennai Cafe's lunch buffet not only catered to diverse tastes with its array of dishes but also incorporated thoughtful touches like live cooking stations and a dedicated selection for kids. A truly satisfying experience for both the adventurous and comfort-seeking taste buds."

The spread was impressive, with everything being good, and a few items stood out as exceptional, encouraging patrons to explore and discover their favorites. Particularly noteworthy were the Idli podi, Appam with coconut milk, and the live dosa counter, which added a dynamic and interactive element to the dining experience. The inclusion of pani puri and other delights further enhanced the variety. In summary, Chennai Cafe offers a delightful South Indian culinary experience, showcasing exceptional dishes within a diverse buffet spread. "Went for a lunch Buffet on a weekday and they had a decent variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Tasted most of the food items and all tasted good and were not too spicy. Service was really good, the wait staff were very prompt in removing finished plates as well as refilling water and soft drinks. Please do ask for the dosa which comes as part of the buffet. Overall a very spacious restaurant and would definitely be going back again.."
