House of Pies

"The chicken Parmesan at House of Pies was an absolute revelation. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfectly crispy breadcrumb coating that provided a delightful crunch in every bite. The blanket of melted mozzarella cheese on top was the crowning glory, gooey and stretchy, creating the perfect marriage of flavors and textures. But the true star of the evening had to be the ice cream and strawberry rhubarb pie. The pie crust was a masterpiece in itself, flaky and golden, providing a sturdy yet delicate base for the luscious filling. The strawberry rhubarb mixture was a harmonious blend of sweetness and tartness, with the strawberries' natural sweetness perfectly balancing the tartness of the rhubarb. The scoop of ice cream on top was the perfect finishing touch, its creamy richness melting into the warm pie and creating a heavenly combination that danced on the palate. Each bite was a moment of pure bliss, making it a dessert experience I won't soon forget."

"The food is very yummy, the service from our waiter, Sam, was very good, polite and attentive without smothering! It's very cold out n they had the doggone ac on, I went n had to make them aware it was cold in there n I believe they cut it off, the music is not appealing but it's at a low volume so it's easy to tune out! I definitely recommend, but they are super busy this Saturday afternoon."

"We enjoy house of pies every time my husband and I go. Service is good; they keep on your refill always, restaurant and RR are clean and it can get busy at times, but is always so good see that! And I looked out the window watching a party bus parked in front of the restaurant and wow I was on person 30 when I lost count with my husband talking to me. But they all got seated fast even though the place was somewhat busy. I love service like that. That was the night my husband ordered the chopped steak, which was DELICIOUS!!!! And I had the shrimp po boy also DELICIOUS!!!! Though I was Stull picking on my husband's meal but we enjoyed it! I love house of pies!"
