"Had a great experience at CarTek. I walked in and spoke with a great guy “Sammy”, who may have been the owner. I had recently had my stock speakers replaced with the addition of a sub and amp from another shop that was very overpriced. Sammy gave me a tour of a vast selection of every head unit i had researched online, and gave me his own take on their specific performance for my situation. I chose a Kenwood Excelon Reference, a huge upgrade from my 2013 stock radio, and decided to add a backup camera. The install took a full day- it was a little complex due to the age of my truck, but Sammy explained that his crew had the experience to make the seamless upgrade without adding to the price we had agreed on. After the install, he took the time to show me how to use all of the features. I’m extremely happy with the new Kenwood head unit, it sounds incredible and is exactly what I was looking for. The backup camera works perfectly, too. I’ll definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to do some custom aftermarket upgrades to their vehicle."

"Called on saturday and was told that the sundown SFB1500d was $239(msrp). I drive across town and arrive here monday morning right when they opened. Now the amp is $289. And hes acting like he doesnt know where that number came from. Making this post from their parking lot before i leave. Wasted my time. Very shady. Edit: called back and complained about them making me drive across town for nothing and they agreed to do it. Which was better than the initial reaponse of "ok, well have a nice day". Ill raise the rating for that by a star."
