"Cashier Andre assisted me today. Brief interaction since he scanned my items quite quickly. But most impressive was his kindness and great customer service with a smile and at the end he said thank you. Wow! I have not heard that in a while. Rare these days...your lucky to have him!"

"The meat seems to go bad extremely fast, which means it already had bacteria in it when it was frozen. Twice now with a steak and with ground beef, they become sour and of course yes you could still eat it, but I’m not gonna take the chance as a newcomer to Texas I thought that the meat would be excellent but I don’t think the sanitation practices are the same- I hope they fix the issue because I do like the store, and I do like all the selection, especially the fast check out, but what does it matter if it’s a fast check out if the meats that you were getting, which are the majority of the cost of the groceries, is no Bueno."

"This store never ceases to amaze me. No matter how full the parking lots, or how busy the store is all the employees are courteous and helpful. Yesterday I dropped in for a few things and headed to the "Quick Lane" register - it just so happened that the card reader was acting up and other craziness. The Manager, Stephanie, came over and calmly helped to address the issues and assist the cashier "clear the queue". When people ask me what's so special about HEB compared to other grocery stores - I just tell them it's the experience, an overwhelmed cashier taking time to find some Buddy Bucks for the kids, the cashier seeing I picked out the wrong product for the coupon sending a runner to help out."

"BIG ! Lots of fine food sections. Not your usual HEB neighborhood store yet not quite a Plus store either. Lots of Great Selections here from cheeses to dried meats. Good fish market and meats as well. Very impressed and puts my local HEB store to shame. Wish it was closer to My home !!!"

"Update: This store has an issue with certain people looking in the beauty section too long. I swear, an associate, pretending to price check an item, always comes near me when I’m reading labels. To the customer with the bad strawberries: please know that HEB stocks certain stores with the absolute best products/produces. My work is in a low income area and it doesn’t make any sense that almost expired items are being sold. This company political hold on this city has kept competitors away. I usually shop at this H‑E‑B but I couldn’t resist capturing a photo or two of the loss prevention guy watching me and my child look at toys. How disgusting!"
