"I have shopped at this store for a long time and liked it very much, but today I tried to exchange a gift (for the same item, no money back) and the experience was like pulling teeth. The employees insist they can’t process an exchange without a receipt, even though J Crew has done this in the past. I guess policies are policies, but the employees acted like I was trying to pull some kind of scam. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Update 12/21: I called the J Crew corporate office, and they accepted the exchange. I also went back to the store to buy a pair of jeans, and they had a solid holiday sale running. Still my favorite store for the tall, low-effort male demographic."

"Very nice staff! They should name the brand the Slim Fit instead, could not find anything that’s not slim fit pants and button down shirts. Very Limited selection with a boutique feel. Prices aren’t that great. Not my brand anymore..."
