"Had a lovely shopping experience here today, the staff were so nice and incredibly helpful. I needed a new pair of jeans and explained that I did not know how to pick the right size or what style I even wanted - this process is dreadful for me. Stephanie got right to it, gathering up all the options and helping me figure out what felt/looked best, she was so patient! I left with a beautiful new pair that I love. The other girls were really great too, giving their feedback as I tried on so many pairs, it was hard to choose just 1. Will definitely be back!"
"It concerns me to see a “manager” demean an associate in the store while I am trying to shop for styles for my daughters birthday. Hearing inappropriate commentary from a manager to an associate displays how unprofessional some of the managers working in the store are. These managers need to treat their employees better before they lose them. Will not be returning."
"Really disappointing experience this evening at Madewell. Spent probably 20 minutes in the store and really wanted to find a flattering pair of jeans. Not a single employee acknowledged mine or my partner’s presence the entire time, or asked if I needed help with anything. Felt incredibly, almost purposefully, unwelcoming and I couldn’t get out of there sooner after trying only a couple things on. Would definitely rather spend my money elsewhere!"

Every single person I interacted with was so kind and helpful. I found the perfect pair of shoes, and they even gave me a discount. It truly made my day! These ladies deserve a raise!"
"My wife has been looking at Madewell online. Coming into the store, the clothes were 40% off, so well worth the trip! Ali was helping us and she was very nice and friendly. I was really impressed with the level of community engagement and care that goes into the Madewell brand. The fresh plants were a noticeable difference with similar shops. This place has done their research and are providing quality materials with boutique service. Bring your old jeans to recycle them!"
