"I visited for Saturday brunch with family. We reserved about a month in advance (partially because I’m from out of town). It is a beautiful restaurant and aesthetically appealing. They have a basket of blankets near the door, which I love the idea of! The toilets in the restroom are European style, so flush takes a while. You may think that’s an odd addition to a review, but it would save you time waiting for the other stall to open up. Parking can be tricky, so plan accordingly. The food was good, not life-shattering. I got Migas and it was different than any migas I’ve ever had. Not horrible, just different. Some of our items had to be sent back because they came out cold. Overall, it’s definitely worth visiting."

"Wonderful and indulgent bougie brunch spot. This spot gives country club dining room, but modern, vibes hard. The prices are big but so are the portions. $20 for an artichoke appetizer is pricey. Full stop. That being said the portion was massive. I feel like this is a spot designed for sharing. Everything is framed as individually made meals - but the portions are epic. In a time where some spots are making appetizers more of the amuse-bouche variety, Tiny Boxwoods is the rare high end Austin dining spot that is going for quantity. I would get that artichoke as an appetizer for 2-4 people. Or as a main for 1-2 if you added a a side of protein. The black drum was the catch of the day. Wonderful cook and presentation. Love the Gulf fresh fish. Pro tip: sit in the far right corner for some of the best views in the place. It is a little nook with garden and restaurant views and fantastic natural light. Ambiance is 10 out of 10 here. Come to lighten your wallet and leave very full. You will pay more but will get more for what you paid."

"This is such a lovely place for getting together with friends for brunch or lunch. Came here with other colleagues to celebrate a birthday and we enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the service. I had the BLT with a Cesar salad as a side, another ordered the burger and fries and two others ordered the southwest salad. Highly recommend and will be back!"

"Excellent food and service. We dined in for lunch and were seated outside. Very relaxing atmosphere. We had the turkey club, the avocado toast and gazpacho with Provencal salad. All of the food was perfectly prepared. Great service as well. Highly recommend reservations. We wouldn't have been seated had we not arrived when they opened for the day."

"If I owned a restaurant, it would be just like this one. The atmosphere, execution and general vibe are absolutely perfect. The food is fresh and gorgeous. The staff, accommodating and also gorgeous. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and...yep, also gorgeous. If you want a place to feel safe, beautiful and perfectly at ease with the world, go here. I would move in if they let me."
