"I came during lunch and ordered the Piquillo Chicken Sandwich with Fruit. I'm seriously blown away with the whole thing! Wonderful waitstaff, my waitress Kimberly was top notch attentive and really knew her menu. The ambiance really took the experience to another level. Clean look, phenomenal fresh food, great quality, taste and presentation. You will be disappointed if you don't have this experience in Lubbock. Just WOW! My new favorite spot!"

"Note: they only serve brunch and it is a very minimum amount of food choices. This is definitely geared more towards alcohol drinks. With that being said, we ordered the BLT and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both had excellent taste and we were satisfied. The breakfast potatoes were different and had more of a potato casserole feel to them."

"Stellar experience all around…I would give ten stars if I could! This past weekend was the first time we’ve tried The Co-Op Public House and it will certainly not be our last. The food was spectacular and our servers were absolute dolls! We especially liked that the atmosphere is moody and dark without being stuffy. My husband is from the Middle East and he got a smidge emotional when he tried the “eggplant hummus” as he said it tastes exactly like his mom’s recipe! Every single course is spot-on and the attention to detail in plating is beyond anything I’ve seen in Lubbock so far. If you’re looking for Michelin-level dishes without the pretentiousness, this is the place. We are thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to come back for more. Keep doing the good work, y’all…it’s worth it!"

"The atmosphere here is absolutely incredible! The cheese and bread was fantastic as well as my salad that literally grew in the room next to where I was eating. Fresher than fresh. My wife had the Co-op burger and it was pretty good. It tasted like a backyard BBQ. I had the steak sandwich. It left much to be desired. The bun was super soft and delicious but the steak didn't do it for me. It was super tender and it should have been delicious, but it just didn't have any flavor. All in all, I think this definitely would be a place to try at least once. There were several things on the menu that j wanted to try so I could see is returning to try other things on the menu. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the restaurant was very clean and have a nice vibe. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the whole place. From the outside dinner chairs, to the awesome bathrooms to the decor. Just such a cool unique place."

"Okay hang on folks, this is a good one. Wife and I just wrapped up date night dinner at Co Op Public House in Lubbock. The place has a unique vibe especially for Lubbock. We arrived at the perfect time and were seated quickly by a friendly hostess and started looking over the still quite small menu. Basically everything looked good and we were hungry…so pretty soon we’d ordered the confit chicken, the beef tenderloin, a margarita pizza, and a sour cream cake for dessert. Pizza came first and it was fantastic! The house-made crust was crisp on the outside and had the perfect chew inside. The pizza sauce was simple, but outstanding…literally think I could drink a cup of it and be thrilled. Toppings were delicious and some incredible Parmesan probably parmesano reggiano, based on taste alone, shedded on top of it all. Delicious doesn’t begin to cover it. But that’s just the beginning. My wife’s chicken was gorgeous, with crisp golden brown skin and litterally falling off the bone at the first touch. It was served atop some thinly sliced potatoes which were saturated with what I assume (but don’t recall from the menu) was a rosemary thyme pesto giving them a green color and a flavor like nothing I’ve ever tried before. They were delicious but mild. The potatoes showed through but the herbs were on full display. My steak was cooked perfectly and delicious with a light brown sauce that I didn’t bother to analyze, just thoroughly enjoyed. Here’s the star of the show: the potatoes that came with that beef tenderloin were whole new potatoes with a capers, (I believe) shallots, and (I believe) parsley. They were a work of art. Think flavor time bombs going off in perfect order through every bite. So delicious and unique. Then dessert. The sour cream cake had a few flakes of salt on top and part of the top was dusted with crushed pistachios. Underneath was a beautifully tart lime curd. The whole thing was a magic show of texture with an amazing creamy, sour, sweet, indescribable deliciousness. Our waitress was a sweetheart and was extremely attentive and helpful. This was a wonderful date night with my love and we both appreciate the staff and chef a ton. We’ll be back and you should get over there quick. Support the good stuff that goes on around here and it’ll stick around and multiply."
