"Jan Chi truly offering up food made by her chef husband. Friendly family owned business serving up delicious dol sot bibimbap, beef mandu, beef kim bop and killer brisket ramen."

"Very very impressed with this spot. Will definitely be back. Pricing is much cheaper than many of the surrounding Korean restaurants, and the food was fantastic. Only giving 4 stars for the food because the pork belly was disappointing: it was basically just blanched bacon with a very potent pork flavor and not much seasoning. Everything else though was exceeded expectations. We went about an hour before closing, and were the only ones there. Our server was very friendly, and I absolutely loved how she took the time to aesthetically set the table with the courses. The environment was very peaceful, and I will be sure to return during daylight to take advantage of the lunch specials and outdoor patio. The restaurant appeared to be extremely clean and sanitary. I appreciated the simple menu, and how every entree comes with rice and 4 sides. The hot stone bowl for the bibimbap was a nice touch as well; around halfway through, the bottom developed a delicious rice crust that added a wonderful crispy texture."

"First time eating Jokbal where the portion is huge, and it had a strong taste of pork (maybe pig) which we can't take many pieces, but it mixed well with the sauces and garlic wrapped with lettuce."
