"Sat at the bar. Service was great, food excellent and definitely a spot I’ll be frequenting going forward. I believe the menu changes often but the lamb rotolo is hands down the best dish I’ve had in Austin. Never have I ever wished I was single as much as I did last night when I had to give up the last bite to my girl. The place has indoor and outdoor seating and I believe I saw valet parking when I was walking out. Definitely a spot you should check out whether you live here or are just visiting."

"I returned to Emmer and Rye for an exceptional evening at the chef’s table overlooking the kitchen! The food was once again incredible and the staff work so well together as a team. I’m so impressed with Emmer and Rye. Special shoutout to chefs Jen and Alexa preparing great dishes in front of us the whole night and to Aaron and Tyler for the fantastic service. My favorites this time were the Cacio E Pepe and Johnny Cakes. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Emmer and Rye on Rainey is a great restaurant and I’m so glad we chose this for a bachelor party. We went with the tasting menu which was definitely the way to go! The servers are all extremely attentive and we throughly enjoyed the evening. The two favorites among all the different plates were the duck confit pasta as well as the persimmon sorbet. I’ve been wanting to go for quite some time. Next time, I want to sit at the bar top that looks into the kitchen. I want to try the Cacio E Pepe. Thanks to the crew at Emmer and Rye!"

"We opted for the Texas beef wagyu showcase, which is only a few days old to the menu. It consists of a 10 course meal and the table must participate. In addition we ordered the raw oysters and crudo which were a nice addition. The meal coursing with the 2 added items was the perfect amount of food and everyone left satisfied. My favorites were the oysters on the rice crisps, the crudo and the tortellini in the beef broth, yes please - the broth alone was bathable. The service was fantastic and so were the cocktails. $12 valet available. I’d definitely go back and try other items."

"We tried our luck and happily got seats at the bar to dine. Service was warm, friendly and helpful. Wine recommendations were all spot on. The food was next level. One of the best meals had in two weeks of dining out every day! Seasonal, fresh and creative, every dish was surprising, thoughtful and above all else, super tasty. Getting hungry just thinking about it…"
