"***UPDATE-February 2024- DON'T GO HERE, THEY ARE RUDE AND UNCARING!!! This is an updated review for the Burnet Rd., Austin, Tx. location. Initially, everything was fun, and I even complimented the owner, but that changed after they told me that my dog couldn't come in any longer and I complained to the owner. So, on my next visits, I would come inside, get my order, (since there were CONSTANT issues with the app), then go back and sit in my car in the AC, since it was an EXTREMELY HOT SUMMER, with my dog. Then, they had issues with me going back inside for refills, although I had PAID their EXTREMELY HIGH PRICES that same hour, for their sodas. Jesse stated that they will ONLY allow a paying customer to get refills as long as you stay inside the restaurant after you buy your soda or meal, (but, remember, they made me take my dog outside). Then, on another visit, I went inside, used the restroom, but decided NOT to order anything. The staff on duty that day, although I was a regular customer, and had the security guard approach me while I was sitting in my car and told me that unless I buy something, I can't use the bathroom. I complained about this to the OWNER by phone, but he did NOT care enough about this situation to return my call. The next time I had time to stop by and speak to Jesse about the incident, he stated that he talked to the OWNER, who stated that you can't please everyone all the time, and I could alsocall the company where the security guard works myself and complain about the situation. As I u nderstand it, DQ refused to call and complain about the unprofessional security guard, who argued with me. I will NEVER go to that DQ again, and encourage others to do the same. They are uncaring business owners!!! ***The following review was approx. April 2023- Everything was great, especially the staff! They are very respectful and helpful! I always get their onion rings, which are wonderful. Thanks to everyone at DQ for ALWAYS being so kind!"

"Round female manager was condescending and rude when the order she took and I waited for outside came out wrong. Rolled her eyes and told me sarcastically and sassily that “I’m sorry you didn’t get what you wanted, friend.” Didn’t attempt to correct my order. Just left and gave the burger to my dog instead."

"Messy, understaffed, and I waited in line for food for 15 minutes, I was the only person in line and there were like two cars outside, also my cone looks funky when I finally got served"

"This place is usually very good, however when I came in last week I witnessed a middle-aged manager named (Andi? Andrea?) verbally harassing a kind and friendly employee and getting irrationally angry towards them. Was disappointing to see such poor leadership and definitely ruined my trip. Hope to see better going forward"

"I love this Dairy Queen and hope it never changes. The perfect style, the best smell inside, and great people; it's everything Fast Food should be, perfectly kept in the sleek, dazzling vineer of the late 20th century. I'm grateful to everyone who works here, you're the best! My single favorite item on menu is the quart of plain soft-serve, which can feed me and my 3 nieces and nephews when they visit!"
