"I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights at Bombay Street Food, a nearby food truck that has left an indelible mark on my taste buds. This hidden gem in Austin has become my go-to destination for authentic Indian street food. The standout item on their menu is undoubtedly the masala tea, which, in my opinion, surpasses any I've tasted in Austin's bustling food scene. It's so good that I recommended they introduce a tea pass for regulars, and the fact that I find myself visiting every other day speaks volumes about its quality. The variety of dishes they offer is astounding, from savory chats to mouthwatering vadapav, samosa, ragda pattice, dabeli, pav bhaji, lassi, and more. Each dish is a flavorful journey through the streets of India. I've personally tried their dabeli and samosa, and they were both incredibly flavorful. What sets them apart, though, is the warmth and generosity of its owners & staff. During a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised when the Gujarati owner refused to accept payment for my tea upon learning that I was headed to a Garba/Navratri celebration. Their understanding and kind gesture made the experience even more memorable. In a city filled with food options, they stand out not only for its delectable offerings but also for the genuine hospitality and community spirit it embodies. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend you do so and savor the flavors of India right here in Austin. "Bombay Street Food" is open daily from 4 pm to 10 pm, ensuring that your cravings for Indian cuisine are met with delicious satisfaction."

"It's a Food Truck at a Gas Station, Perfect place if you want to hang out and eat in your car's boot. Limited seating. Would recommend the Chaat options, one of the dishes, Pav bhaji, is amazing. 9/10 would recommend."

"We had pav vaji, pani puri and bhel. Ina word the food were SUPER delicious according to our tastebud. We are not from India but we are familiar with these street food. So we went there to try and we were very pleased with the food. I personally liked the pav vaji and the gravy served with it. The gravy was thick and tasted really good with the pav which is a piece of bread roll. The second thing I liked was the bhel. It’s basically puffed rice mixed with some spices. It was decent. In our country we also have that but mixed with green chili and spices of our kind. That actually taste better than this to us. But anyway, this bhel was a good substitute of that hot and spicy rice puff from our country. Panipuri was average. It wasn’t something that would force you to bring out the wow expression. The puris could have been fried a little less. Some of the puris had burnt marks because of over frying. However these tasted decent with the sweet and tangy liquids these were served with. It also came with a lentil (dal). The atmosphere was good. The shop is actually a food truck trying to create the vibe of street food. So you order standing in-front of the truck and then after picking up you sit in an open space. It’s actually the space of a gas station. Feels like eating right in front of the street, which is a good way to bring some of the memories from our country back."

"I rate this food truck 5 star based on the food and service. It's at a gas station, so you shouldn't really expect a great atmosphere. I ordered pav bhaji for myself, and dahi puri and mango lassi for my four year old. We both loved our food. The person at the counter was very helpful in selecting the right dish and the food came quickly. It's authentic Mumbai food. So of you like that, you'll love the food here. We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!"
