"This was my first time trying this place, and I really loved it! The vibe is very casual and laid back. Very charming inside, as well. The employees were very nice. Menu has lots of fun options. I had the Picnic Dog, which was delicious. I tried my friends Chicago Dog and that one was a bit sweet for me. I took off the sweet pickles and that instantly made it better (to me). The onion rings and chips were really great. One of the stars of the show was the sauce that came with the onion rings. I’m not even sure if it was ranch or French onion dip, but it could easily be bottled up and sold. So good. I can’t wait to go back and try other dogs, and I’d highly recommend this place to others!"

"If you want a place to eat good hot dogs this is the one. You can customize your dog however you like. The size of every ingredient is very good. My only concern is that the bun is too soft. The French fries are actually good. Same as the sauce. They have a very nice atmosphere, showing not only love for dogs, but also for cats. It is pet friendly. I wonder if those food trucks are available in other locations around Houston. I'd love to buy some dogs to go near my location or in Pearland :)"

"Delicious hot dogs. Extensive menu and friendly staff. Everything I got was delicious and can't wait to go back. Both indoor and outdoor areas. 2 outdoor patios that are dog friendly as shown in pics. They brought out water and a treat for my guy here. Hot dogs were bursting with flavor yet not too much to were you feel nasty after. Small parking lot though but I did see 1 cat."

This place isn’t just good for their dogs, the chicken tenders, homemade sauces and sides, and the deli club were real crowd pleasers for our group. "The GoodDog is situated in the Houston Heights area. This small, quaint unassuming location surrounded by local traffic and abundant trees, makes for breath of fresh air in the backdrop chaos of one’s existence. I ordered The chai-town Dog presents with fresh tomato slices, dill pickle slices, short bus mustard, sweet blakeslee relish, pickled fresno peppers & celery salt served on poppy seed bun. It was a playful balanced experience of sliced pickles and Fresno peppers, nurtured by the consistency of the sausage and the homemade bun. I was surprised to learn that they make their own I house ketchup and aioli garlic mayonnaise so rich and flavorful and never intense. This was accompanied by a side of thinly cut fries sprinkled with salt & pepper freshly made only at request. I felt full-filled and not bloated, and actually wanted more. The people were friendly and it felt good to escape from it all for a moment."
