"I have spend a week in Austin and explored vegan / vegetarian restaurants. This is hands down the best place I went! I have eaten there 3 times, tried burgers and shakes. It’s inside the whole foods complex. High quality vegan comfort food. You can sit either upstairs or in the general Whole Foods seating area (which I preferred). Keep a lookout on their monthly specials!"

"Today was our first time, my son requested a burger for a quick dinner before an after school activity and I needed some items at Whole Foods. I’ve been eating WFPB for the past couple of years and it can be hard to find a really nice burger option. I got the beyond burger on a sprouted bun with special sauce and it was delicious, juicy and hearty, every component what you would want. My son who’s 8yo and picky had no idea his meal was vegan (cheeseburger), he kept saying “delicious” every few bites. We shared his kids fries which were a generous portion, thick and not too greasy, well seasoned with some sort of Cajun spice. I’m sure we will eat here again! I can’t wait to try a shake or a different burger like the veggie one!"

"First time visiting Next Level; the only thing off was the location which inside the Whole Foods; a mix atmosphere (I personally give it a 4.5). But don’t let the location fool you; the food is phenomenal. From a meat eater’s perspective, the in-house patty is great, I can call out the vegan beef but it doesn’t bother me. The sweet potato fries are wonderful; salty and sweet; not too oily. The shakes are great; there’s two options of a soy base or coconut base shake which I find wonderful to those with soy sensitivity. THE FRY SAUCE, I personally think is far better than Raising Cane’s sauce. Top of my list. Ordered the SoCal burger for their in-house patty and I have no complaints. Great flavor, light and easily enjoyable; patty itself has complex flavors, again no issues from a meat eater’s perspective. I would like to see a brick and motor store. One critique I have; service was wonderful. Worth the visit."

"Super convenient stopping for a burger while I’m grocery shopping. Love that it’s located inside Whole Foods and 100% vegan. I love the mushroom patty the most but it always falls apart. Fries and tator tots are delicious and the shakes are ok. I recommend the peanut butter cup shake"

"Listen… tough out there for the vegans. You don’t have humans taking orders, you sell fast food with fancy microwaves, and I have to tip because I’m not going to take this out on the staff but $23 for a sandwich and THE WORLDS SMALLEST SHAKE (that doesn’t not taste like any cookies and cream I’ve had before - not a compliment ) oh, and without a side Blah, blah, blah inflation - if you’re going to run an over side food stand INSIDE a grocery story maybe be more competitive pricing. It comes across as price gouging because what else can a vegan get in downtown Austin - bummer all around."
