"We had an amazing experience with this family!!! It was the night before thanksgiving and they were open late they had dealt with some not so nice people before us.. they had ran out of some of the deserts we had ordered and didn’t have a full order of some of the sides we had ordered due family’s ordering in bulk for their family’s thanksgivings.. she was soo apologetic and offered refunds for those Items!! The food was amazing and this family owned restaurant will be a must have when we are back in the Austin area!! If you haven’t tried it you won’t be disappointed!!"

"This place popped up as new on Grubhub so I thought I would give them a shot. They have a lunch deal going on that if you get their MoT 1 piece w/ 2 sides you get a free kool-aid and that's exactly what I ordered. I got a choice between thigh or leg and went with leg and doubled up on their mac & cheese. The chicken leg was good, IDK what other people are talking about saying it was flavor/seasonless, the flavor was good and I feel like it had a hint of Cayenne which gave a nice kick with each bite. The Mac & Cheese def. tasted homemade and I'm glad I doubled up on it since the single serving, while a decent portion, does leave you wanting more. Overall, a good experience and would order again. P.S: Their website does allow you to make donations which allows them to give a meal to a person living on the street, amazing initiative and supports the community."

"Good soul foods spot. The taste of fried catfish and pork chop, remind me of good home cooked meal. And the sides especially collard green is my favorite, have a good texture and flavor without over-seasoning. I definitely look forward to try their fried chicken."

"I will NEVER order from this place again. Waited almost an hour for our order, get the food and no way we felt this was the amount we paid for. The chicken was the worst ever and I don’t even want to talk about the side items. I never felt the need to offer a review but this one really got to me. We have the order number and receipt. You really got a good donation from us."
