"First time in a waffle house and I wasn't impressed.... it wasn't bad but my food tasted bland... our waitress was nice"

"Food was delicious. The reason for my low rating is because my brother and I were very disappointed when the customers who arrived after us not only received their food in a timely matter but our waitress kept coming telling us the rest of our order would be out in a few minutes. Meaning she only gave us parts of our order. The main reason we chose waffle House was to have their waffle which we never even got. She brought our check and still hadn't even given me my breakfast ham. The service was terrible. No she wasn't rude but she was unprofessional and clearly didn't care. She had the audacity to ask if we wanted to take our waffles to go. Not to mention after the manager told her to discount our bill because we didn't receive our entire order she overcharged me. P.s. had to ask trainee for jelly so my brother could at least eat his toast. We were on break from work. Even though the food we were served was delicious the service ruined the entire experience."

"First off, very ghetto. Dirty and unprofessional. It's 10pm I walk in and immediately get told "there's no cook, he ran to the store and who knows what time he'll be back" she said it with no care and basically told me to leave. I thought he wouldn't take long, who knows how long he's been gone so I told her "I can wait no problem " She said again "I'm just saying, idk how long he's going to take, it'll be a minute just to let you know" It's been 20 mins and this cook isn't back yet, is he on the clock? This is very unprofessional. I'm a nurse who just got off a long shift and to come to this? I don't recommend this place. I've been here maybe 3x and other 2 times has been an OK experience, aside from the dirtyness, when there's a cook I'll rate it 4/10 The girl seemed nice and annoyed with this cook, she stated he does this almost everyday and it helds her back. Cook finally came in after 20mins of waiting. Stayed in his vehicle. I was charged and the girl takes my receipt outside to show him in his vehicle, idk what the whole point of that was but I literally don't even want my food anymore. I didnt even get a full waffle!! Management or owners needs to check up on this location on 290. This cook isn't even wearing proper uniform and or socks!! I'm disgusted by this place"

"I love waffle house. Staff has always been very friendly, even though he gets very busy sometimes service has always been very quick. You can’t go wrong here. Everything is delicious."

"!! THEY ADD TIPS BEFORE THEY GIVE YOU YOUR TOTAL !! I went to this location twice this past weekend for the first time; food was great minus the hashbrowns, they were cold both times for everyone that ordered (party of 4, and party of 2) and were a little burnt. The place was also really dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Behind the counter was the worst, but the tables were dirty, napkin dispensers had gunk in them, and the cups of water had little bits at the bottom. The first time we went was my first time at a Waffle House in general, and the prices seemed really good for what we were ordering, however, the total seemed a little much for what was written on the menu. I realized the second time around that they were adding tips before giving us our total. Personally, I ordered one of the breakfast egg and cheese melts ($9.25) with a sweet tea, which should've come out to somewhere around $11-13 combined. When I went to pay for my meal at the register, my total somehow shot up to $19.49 BEFORE tipping. I was then asked how much of a tip I'd like to leave, and when I called them out on adding a $6 tip already they said "yeah, yeah, you don't have to leave a tip if you don't like." The others in the party were upcharged as well, but didn't want to stir something up since they were busy, so we paid with no extra tips and left. Looking at my card history later, I was charged $21.49?? This place is ridiculous, and I really hope this isn't how all Waffle Houses operate. Will not be going back or recommending this place."
