"This is my favorite Torchy’s! They’re not all the same— and Maggie is the best! I don’t know how she can hear the orders accurately (sometimes it’s SO LOUD in here between the background music and busy restaurant."

"They forgot my drink. The manager maria tried to make excuses but I’m in a hotel, ordered over $75 of food for one person and how am I supposed to eat without anything to drink? Refunding a drink is not making it right, that barely covers the damage of not getting the drink. Doordash and Torchy’s has lost a customer. I travel for work and this is not okay. Offer to send the drink back with another driver instead of making excuses that the driver is not of age. And if that is the case, shouldn’t you notify the customer? Where is the communication on your part. I am the customer and you need to talk to me if you are not sending an item to me. I would’ve canceller the whole order with out a drink. Your prices come with a higher level of expectation. But I guess you still have not learned that after all these years. Because how am I supposed to wash down tacos and chips and guacamole without anything to drink in my hotel room. Send a glass of water for god’s sake. Learn to be hospitable."

"First time eating here at the location in Austin, Texas. The food was delicious, freshly made and service was fast. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful."

"The theme in this lovely town seems to be: "if it looks decent it is". It is almost as if people are tricking themselves into believing that food is good when it really isn't. Upon my visit I made an order I ordered the Baja shrimp tacos I ordered the salmon Taco as well. Upon entering the restaurant you think it was any type of fast food taco joint and since it's so hyped up I had really high expectations. Boy was I disappointed and I left hungry after having two tacos. Not to mention that I waited about 15 minutes for two simple tacos. The people at the restaurant are nice which is why I didn't give this experience one star. But it is sad that so many people visit a place like this to pay an exorbitant price for two simple pieces of food that can be had at a mom and pop place for much less. So I challenge people the consumer, the foodie, anybody to patronize your local food truck instead because the food's not only going to be better but it's probably going to be cheaper and you'll get it quicker too. This is such a disappointment I don't even know what else to write. 2 stars."
