"we loved our lunch at hoovers yesterday!! it was phenomenal! my husband got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, and i got the fried chicken, all white, with the same sides and the biscuit that comes with it! both meals were so yummy! the wait staff were few but mighty and the service was great! be kind to them as they’re super short staffed. they still managed to be super attentive! we will definitely be back!"
"This was our first visit there and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. There was only one server and he handled the whole room by himself. Very very well. If you haven't been to this little hidden gem, then you definitely need to go! We had the bourbon sliced ham and it was delicious. The portions are definitely more than enough!"
"Hoover's does a lot of classic southern style comfort food. If that is what you crave then this place is worth a visit. Unfortunately for me it didn't seem all that special. Food wise it was as if you took what used to be good 15 years ago and froze that idea. There is just too much competition with better tasting food these days."
