Inspired by Nashville hot chicken and led by a top Texas chef, Tumble 22 offers Cold Beer, Hot Chicken, and Cheap, Stiff Drinks. Their menu also includes Housemade Pie, available whole or by the slice. The chicken is fried and coated in a secret blend of spices, with heat coming from cayenne and spice dip. MSG is not used in any of their products. With six heat levels ranging from "Painless" to "Stupid Hot," Tumble 22 offers a unique dining experience. "Shelby the bar manager was so helpful, patient, and kind as my 11 yr old and I placed our first order (to go). We have been wanting to try this restaurant and I am so glad we did. Shelby provided exceptional service. The food smells delicious and the offerings look delicious. I am excited to get it home to try it all! We will definitely be back!"
"Tumble 22 is probably one of my favorite Mac n cheese places. I know, I know they do chicken. The chicken bites alone are amazing, some of the best chicken I've had. I like spice I usually go to a 4 or 5 on the heat level. However, if you're a Mac person I suggest getting the dirty Mac n cheese with the hot chicken and ranch. It's savory and makes the perfect entree. The Burnet location also has secret potato salad still that used to be on the menu which I always get. Friendly staff, amazing food, and delicious pies. We tried to chocolate cream and the pecan chocolate toffee both were delicious! Just like your grandma made you when you were a kid. Stellar chicken place, one of my favorites in ATX."
