"Ebisu Japanese Restaurant's seafood ramen disappoints with lackluster flavor and a shortage of seafood, mainly featuring vegetables with only a sparse inclusion of a couple of mussels. Notably absent are essential elements like shrimp, squid, and scallops, while the absence of an egg further diminishes the dish. The sushi fares no better, lacking flavor and failing to impress with its taste. The disappointment extends to the quality of the seafood, as evidenced by the uncleaned mussel shells found in their seafood ramen. This oversight further detracts from the dining experience, highlighting a lack of attention to detail and quality control in the kitchen. Overall, the dining experience at Ebisu leaves much to be desired, especially for those expecting authentic and flavorful Japanese cuisine."

"I am so happy I tried this place after so many years of driving past it. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, it’s very clean and well-lit inside. Happy hour is pretty generous - it lasts all the way to 6:30 which is great. The sake Mac and cheese was ok - not my thing but my daughter loves it. The Aji Sashimi was amazing. There was a green sauce on the sashimi which was the perfect balance of clean flavor. And they did the right thing by frying the bones! I love restaurants that do this with Aji bones and with Amaebi shell. The sexy roll did not disappoint. I didn’t want to eat a bunch of rice so this was a great no-carb option. It was extremely filling too! I can’t wait to take the rest of my family here. It was such a great experience!"

"This is a cool place for sushi and Japanese dishes. We liked the spicy edamame and nigiri pieces. Our server was helpful with questions I had when choosing my meal and her recommendation was spot on. Their happy hour prices are an added bonus."
