"We recently hosted a private party at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional service that was attentive, yet not overbearing. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The Basil Chicken was a culinary delight, with its tender, perfectly seasoned meat, complemented by the freshest of vegetables. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. But let's not forget the drinks - they were a hit! The Guava Margarita, in particular, was a crowd favorite. Its unique flavor and perfect blend made it not just a drink, but an experience in itself. In summary, this restaurant excelled in every aspect - fantastic food, marvelous drinks, and extraordinary service. It's rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes with such finesse. Highly recommend!!!"

"This is the best Mexican food I've ever had in Austin! There were so many flavors that I hadn't experienced before and everything was so TASTY! The birria was the best thing ever. Much more traditional than many Mexican restaurants out there and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I am leaving a review quite a bit after we went here, so I don't remember the exact dish names, but they involved birria!"

"Not what I was expecting when I first arrived. Not your average Mexican food! The salsa and queso threw me off at first. This is a more traditional type of Mexican food. You’re in for a treat!!! Awesome, looks really good The staff is super friendly! Kathy is an amazing bartender! You have to get the Mariachi Martini, Kathy makes this perfectly with the right amount of spicy. The Tostadas de Ceviche is another favorite! The Fajita combo is great dish the meat is seasoned and cook perfectly!! Got those last time! Now I’m getting ready to try a Kathy favorite. Albacar y Espinacas Pollo. UPDATE!!!! Kathy wasn’t wrong. You have to try it!!!!"

As you step into the restaurant, you are welcomed by a warm, inviting ambiance that marries rustic elements with contemporary flair. The waitstaff diligently fulfill the restaurant’s mission statement printed on the menu: “We look forward to bringing our personal touch to each of our guests, creating a unique and welcoming experience for all.” Their attentive yet unobtrusive service is a testament to this ethos. The prickly pear frozen margarita is a revelation. The nuanced tartness of prickly pear harmonizes beautifully with the icy smooth texture, exemplifying how the restaurant has mastered the art of the frozen margarita. We visited during Happy Hour, where a half-off deal on appetizers provided an opportunity to sample a diverse range of culinary delights. The Tostadas de Ceviche were a showstopper, a vibrant and visually appealing medley of fish, tomato, onion, cucumber, serrano chiles, mango, avocado, red cabbage, cilantro, and lime on corn tostadas. The dish was as festive as it was delicious, featuring a captivating balance of flavors. The Carne Asada Fries were nothing short of indulgent. A unique touch was the queso blanco, thoughtfully served on the side for customized dipping or drizzling. This gave diners the freedom to moderate the cheesiness of their dish. The Carne Asada was tender and flavorful, masterfully complemented by homemade guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. My son was so enamored by this dish that a second order was a must for his next meal. Conmaye is destined to become a staple in North Austin’s dining scene. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch dining experience."
