"If you’re looking for a nice night out for date night or for a birthday, this place is a perfect spot! Their drinks were so good! And their appetizers and entrees were delicious. The guacamole and chips hit the spot. You also have to try their ribeye tacos - they were so tasty! Tacos were smaller than what I was expecting, but the taste was amazing. Can’t wait to go again!"
"Went out for a team lunch on a weekday so didn't have any wait times. The menu is limited on the variety of items but the quality overall was good. I did feel the items were quite overpriced for what they are but the location likely plays a part in that. The ambience was fine as well."
"La popular is one of the best mexican food restaurant in Austin. The ambience is so beautiful and the interior designs are very attractive with comfortable seating. We ordered Chicken Tacos and Fish Tacos with Nachos.. The dishes looks colorful and nicely decorated. The taste is okay but, I expected a lot, and needs little bit improvement in taste wise. They staff are always helpful and ready to guide us to select the menu based on our recommendations. Definitely a perfect place for friends to chillout. Overall, We had a lovely dinner experience."
"The drinks were strong and the food was amazing. Real spicy salsas, coming from a Hispanic means alot, I loved it. The nachos with steak were delicious. We shared the tacos and ribs. Our new favorite place in Austin."
"Great for a date night and has such a cute vibe! There was a little wait even with our reservation but we sat at the bar for the time being and we enjoyed some fun drinks until our table was ready. I am such a huge chip/salsa fan and I love how it came with 4 different flavors. We had an amazing server as well cannot wait to go back."
